Weekend Fun

Saturday is not your typical take it easy, lay back kind of Saturday. We keep working & sometimes more so than on the weekdays. We had to take the wheel line apart today and realign it, it looked like a big ol' Boa constrictor was in it. Took about an hour to get it all straightened up and water going thru it again. Glad to get that going - the simple things in my life make me happy. ;)

There is a college campus up the road from us - they were having a garage sale today.Here is a link about what they are doing in a small ranching community, www.indiana.edu/~iugfs/. We went up and got some bunk beds (3 sets) and wall lockers (3). We are planning on using them at hunting camp.....seems like there is never enough beds at hunting camp. The more beds you have the more people there are to fill them. My father in law is building an addition to his hunting cabin - so we will have place to put them. Should be very nice for its purpose.

I had a friend come out for the day, so she just hung out with us & helped us out. It was nice to have her here, broke up the everyday stuff. We did get the chance to see a brand new baby Deer. It was just born today, very small and tiny. Always cool to see nature at its newest and freshest. We did not bother it, other than to look and say "wow". Momma deer did not go away to far, watching and keeping a close eye on us and baby.
