Well I should start by telling you that I live on a ranch & currently we are in the busy season. It is spring time in Montana and that means that the weather is crazy and unpredictable. Could be snow, rain or 80 degrees on any given day. As of late we have had rain and snow. Regardless of the weather though I have certain things that I have to do everyday.
In the morning I irrigate the fields, I have a wheel line (aluminium pipe on wheels that carries and sprinkles water) & I have to place plastic type damns in little irrigation canals to divert the water thru the fields. Needless to say on the hot days I love this work, but on the cold rainy, snowy days this job can be purely brutal. After I get done "moving" water in the morning I do whatever happens to be on the agenda, this varies from day to day. Then in the evening I "move" the water again.
My kids (2 boys ages 6 & 3) go with me 95 % of the time. Which makes things even more interesting and at times taxing on me as mother. But we try to get along.
I also try to workout @ some time during the day. This proves to be an enormous challenge during this time of year, but I can usually find/make the time. I find that it makes me more grounded, less irritable, and many other things that I wont get into right now.
Well there is a quick overview of my days as of late. I will write more specifically on these things as time goes on.
